Alocasia sinuata stands out among collectors for its wavy leaf edge, a shape unlike the smoother margins of most Alocasia species. The Mint form brings a soft, pale coloration on top of that distinctive shape, giving it a lighter, more delicate look on the shelf.

Botanical Background

Alocasia sinuata grows as a rhizomatous herb in humid, shaded forest conditions typical of the genus. As with other Alocasia, the sap contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and children.

Growing Conditions

Give it bright, indirect light, warmth between 18-27C (65-80F), a well-draining chunky aroid mix, and humidity above 60% where possible.
